Mechanical Fitter

I am currently recruiting a skilled mechanical fitter for a client based near the Rossendale area, specialising in the manufacturing of special purpose machinery.

This role would suit a time served mechanical fitter who has previously worked in the machine build sector.

Pay- £15

Working hours- 8am to 4:30pm - 3pm finish Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Use a variety of hand tools to be able to assemble machinery.
• Read and following engineering drawing's
• Follow production schedules and address any issues discussed during weekly meetings.
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and work off-plan when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment in line with health and safety standards.
• Support colleagues as needed, becoming proficient in sub-assembly and full assembly builds.
