We are currently working with a Major Rail firm who are looking for a Contract Mechanical Designer to join them for 1-3 months of consultancy work.

They are a firm who are a Global name in the Rail industry and require 2 CAD Designers/Engineers to join them on a contract. This role can be OUTSIDE IR35.

Day to Day tasks include:

• Taking 3D models and creating 2D Drawings using either Solidworks or AutoCAD
• Updating current drawing files with the updated versions
• Work with the client on approvals and further iterations as required

This role can be done fully remote, you will have to provide your own hardware but the client will allow you access to their Solidworks 2023 license. You will have experience working in the Rolling Stock industry.

In return you'll receive an hourly rate of £30/hr - £40/hr ltd depending on experience.
