We have an opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong background working with AutoCAD 3D Plant to join a forward-thinking engineering consultancy providing services to the Paper and Pulp industry.

The role involves designing and detailing manufacturing drawings for steelwork, platforms, and support structures within the machinery and process systems sector. The company operates from modern facilities equipped with the latest CAD software and technology to support innovative design and engineering solutions.

This role is office based 5 days a week and is OUTSIDE IR35 so can be worked as a limited company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and detail manufacturing drawings for steelwork, platforms, and support structures using AutoCAD 3D plant.
• Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to develop process systems.
• Ensure accuracy and adherence to industry standards in all design work.
• Contribute to the pre-assembly and installation of machinery.

In return you'll receive a rate of £38/hr ltd for an initial 2-3 month contract with the possibility of extension.
