We are currently working with a leading FMCG machinery manufacturer in the Accrington area who are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer OUTSIDE IR35 on a 6 month contract.

The role ideal for an experienced mechanical engineer with a solid understanding of 2D and 3D CAD modelling, stress analysis, and material science from a Machinery Design background.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed drawings of components for new and repeat designs.
• Update and maintain bills of materials and manage PDM Vault.
• Develop detailed design drawings and specifications using SolidWorks.
• Perform calculations for sizing and selecting mechanical components.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to enhance Design for Manufacture and Assembly.

In return you'll receive a rate up to £38/hr ltd for a 6 month contract.
