Due to an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team in the Rossendale area!

This role demands a positive, proactive individual committed to maintaining quality standards. The successful candidate will take ownership of projects, demonstrating efficiency and professionalism.

It would be ideal for a dedicated Mechanical Design Engineer who thrives on delivering high-quality work, collaborates effectively within a team, and maintains a professional approach with both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce SolidWorks drawings and collaborate with the Buyer on parts procurement.
• Take ownership of assigned projects, ensuring efficiency and professionalism.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, providing regular updates to the Managing Director and Project Coordinator.
• Manage project handovers from the Sales Team, obtaining necessary information for successful completion.
• Communicate progress to customers weekly and attend customer sites and project meetings as required.

In return you'll receive a salary of up to £40,000, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays (rising with tenure) and bonuses (up to 10% per annum), all for a working week of just 34 hours!
