True experts in their field require Engineers who follow process, but also have that little bit of an innovative spark.
Our client, based in Ormskirk are absolutely leads in their field - a name synonymous with Geotechnical works across the UK. With Construction work across the UK at an all time high, they are busier than ever and looking to expand accordingly.
They are looking to bring in 2 Design Engineers who have experience with 3D Design (they use Inventor + Vault but will happily take other 3D Design software), and have experience with FEA calculations. They also need someone who has energy, initiative and that spark to think of solutions that others miss.
The heavy machinery, the technical aspects of the work, the hydraulic systems - they can all be taught.
Day to day tasks include:
- 3D Design using Inventor and implementing cost effective solutions for new hardware and modifications of existing machinery.
- Developing project scope in a team, including specialists from different engineering disciplines
- Research & Development, taking projects from concept through to completion.
- Working on complex problems, coming up with a range of solutions working with heavy machinery.
In return you'll receive a salary of up to £40k, a company car, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays (which increases with tenure), BUPA and a pension that's matched up to 5%.
