One of our Global Clients who offer sales and support for their large comprehensive range of high quality equipment based in the Stockport area are seeking a skilled steer / Operator strong Mazak background to join our team.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mazak setter / operator to join a precision engineering team in a permanent position. This role involves operating and setting and working with Mazatrol and Mazak controls to produce high-precision components.

This role would suit a skilled and detail-oriented individual with experience in Mazak, who thrives in a hands-on role requiring precision and adherence to tight tolerances.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Mazak machine
• Turning experience
• Produce precision components to exact specifications, ensuring adherence to technical drawings.
• Inspect finished work using conventional measurement tools, identify deviations, and make corrections.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a tidy, safe work environment.
• Collaborate with the team to optimise processes and uphold high production standards.

The benefits of the role would include a competitive salary up £36k per annum depending on experience and a generous pension scheme. Holiday allowance would be 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and great overtime rates with opportunities for professional development and training.

• Flexible hours Monday to Thursday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Friday 8:00 am - 1:00 pm.
