Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, upto £38k dependent on experience, Permanent position

Working hours are Mon-Thurs 8am-4:30pm, Fri 8am-1:30pm

Great opportunity to join a Company who have been established for 50 years, they are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician responsible for the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment within their facility. This role involves routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure machinery operates at optimal functionality while maintaining accurate records and providing excellent customer service to internal departments.

This role is ideal for a mechanically skilled individual with strong knowledge of machinery and logic controllers, and previous supervisory experience. The perfect candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a commitment to safety protocols, and at least three years of maintenance experience.

• Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues promptly
• Utilise logic controllers and read electrical schematics for troubleshooting
• Supervise maintenance staff and provide technical guidance
• Perform welding tasks for equipment repairs as needed
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment history
• Provide excellent customer service to internal departments
