Are you an experienced Laboratory Technician, Chemist or QC Analyst?
Have you worked with Coatings, Polymers, or Colour Matching?

As a Laboratory Assistant, you will support the Laboratory Technician and Formulation Chemist in testing and QC checks.

As part of the team, you will carry out and support a variety of duties, including:

• Carry out tests such as Viscosity and Colour on materials.

• Carry out QC checks on raw materials.

• Support development projects.

• Perform colour matching and carry out corrections where needed.

• Record accurate test results on spreadsheets.

• Support the mixing room when required.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience in similar Laboratory Technician, QC Analyst or Chemist role.

• Familiar with Viscosity, Colour testing, and QC checks.

• Experience with coatings, polymers, paints or similar would be advantageous.

• UV-Vis is desirable but not essential.

• Strong IT and record-keeping skills.

• Willingness to work rotating shifts.

Location - Stockport
Salary - Competitive
Permanent - Full Time - Shifts - 38 hrs per week (rotating weekly)
Week 1: 6 am until 2 pm, 6 am until 12 pm on Fridays
Week 2: 2 pm until 10 pm, 12 pm until 6 pm on Fridays
