We are currently working with a Leading Manufacturing firm who specialise in the Manufacturing of Special Purpose Machinery in the FMCG sector. They are looking for a Permanent Junior Mechanical Engineer to be based in Accrington who has strong background across Manufacturing/Production, who can work as a go between for the Design team and Shop floor, explaining how Designs can be made more practical.
Day to day duties will include:
- Managing and Creation of BOMs for new and existing machinery.
- Create and Manage the Quality Assurance Processes in conjunction with the Quality team.
- Track and maintain project plans, releasing updates to the latest issues.
- Create spares lists using the internal systems.
- Create, process, release, transfer, update production structure & shop orders.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in manufacturing/ production engineering, have previous design experience, and be degree qualified, which is desirable but not essential. This is an on-site role with flexible working available. In return you will receive a Salary between £25,000 - £30,000 DOE. 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays and a discretionary annual bonus.
