As a Finance Assistant you will work as part of a Finance team for a successful Manufacturing business, working alongside the company Accountant and Financial Controller.

As part of the team you will carry out and support a variety of duties, including:

• You collate documentation to support journal transactions for expenditure and sales in profit and loss.
• You will reconcile Balance Sheet Accounts
• You will ensure all Purchase Ledger items are complete.
• You will reconcile all bank accounts on a daily basis.
• You will recognise, prepare and produce prepayments and accruals.
• You will obtain approvals for supplier payments.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience in similar Finance, Accounting or Payroll position
• Strong Microsoft Excel experience
• AAT qualified (desirable)
• Experience with allocating concepts: accruals and prepayments

Location - Hyde
Salary - £25k - £28k (dependent on experience)
Permanent - Full Time - 35 hrs per week / 0900am - 1700pm (Mon-Fri)
