Job description
We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join a family run business who are big open empowering their staff. Working with Switchgear products, the company has the facilities to offer bespoke training plans and mapped out progression. With an emphasis on a collaborative teamwork culture, with opportunities to work around the world this is a very exciting prospect for the right candidate. This role with have a 50:50 split between Site based and workshop-based work.
The company is big on organic growth, this role has come about due to recent growth which they are unable to support organically. The role and responsibilities of the position include.
Providing site-based support on behalf of the company, assisting with maintenance, repair, and servicing of LV/MV/HV switchgear, circuit breakers and SF6 gas.
Ensuring that top level customer service and technical support is provided all times, demonstrating excellent fault finding and rectification skills, to ensure customer requirements are met.
Ensure correct and accurate documentation is kept at all times. Completing reports, timesheets and expenses, to ensure invoicing is all processed correctly.
Having an eye on Continuous improvement, identifying any areas of additional repair which may be required when working on-site.
To be considered you must meet the following.
Previous experience working with switchgear experience is
Be qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 in an engineering discipline.
Have a full UK driving licence.
Be a collaborative team member.
