A leading UK manufacturing organisation is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer to support the smooth operation and upkeep of its busy production facility and office spaces. This is a varied, hands-on role involving mechanical and electrical maintenance, machinery repairs, and general site support to ensure consistent operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee general maintenance and repairs across the factory and office areas.
• Conduct hands-on mechanical and electrical repairs on production machinery.
• Perform fault finding, fitting, and basic equipment servicing.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and tradespeople on site works.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and testing activities.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in Facilities Maintenance.
• Skills in Mechanical or Electrical fitting would be advantageous.
• A proactive, can-do attitude with a practical approach to challenges
• Solid problem-solving skills and initiative

Location - Bury
Salary - circa £35k - £40k (dependent on experience)
Permanent - circa 37 hrs per week - 0800-1630 (Mon-Thurs), 0800-1330 (Fri)
