Job description

During times of economic downturn, sometimes the aim of the game is security. Big firms are able to provide, not only excellent salaries and benefit packages to boot, but long term security with business sectors that are well established.

Well with our client, security is the name of the game. They are a Global brand who have a reputation that precedes them, and the provide quality in everything they do.

We are looking for an Electrical Engineering manager to lead their Complex Integrated Security Systems - CCTV, Perimeter Protection and Access Control. With a huge amount of Government Grants going towards office refits, and plenty of money going into new Construction at the moment, you'll be managing projects across the UK, taking charge of the design mainly and working with Design Engineers and Field Engineers to ensure that designs don't just look the part, but are fit for purpose amongst the other utilities in the buildings.

Your day to day will include:

  • Develop Conceptual Design and Technical Proposals for Tenders.

  • Work with a team of 8 Engineers, leading and developing across the division.

  • Managing the Design to Build project.

  • Lead Design Reviews, both internally and customer facing.

  • Working to BS7671 18th edition standards

  • Attend customer and subcontractor meetings as required.

In return you'll receive a competitive salary + up to 15% bonus + car allowance/company car (your choice) and 26 days holidays with hybrid working (2-3 days from home)

So if you're looking for your own security in a tumultuous market, get in touch today with Mark Dorey onmark.dorey@emp-sol.com or0161 416 6296.
