We are looking for experienced Project Engineering Manager from the Nuclear Industry to provide engineering and technical leadership on major nuclear projects. The role is focussed on EC&I Design projects for a Nuclear Decommissioning contract the client have.

The role pays circa £58/hr umbrella and is a 6 month minimum contract. This is a hybrid role, to be in the offices in Warrington for 2-3 days per week. You must have current SC Clearance due to the nature of the role.

This role is ideal for a seasoned electrical engineer with strong experience in the Nuclear industry, including within a technical leadership capacity. It suits someone who excels in team management, problem-solving, and client-facing presentations, with a strong background in nuclear projects and a passion for developing innovative engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage technical teams for electrically biased work packages in nuclear decommissioning projects.
  • Evaluate client needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Oversee all phases of engineering work, including design delivery and commissioning.
  • Develop and implement project-specific engineering execution plans.
  • Actively manage project risks and performance.
