A specialist manufacturer within the precision engineering sector is currently seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join their team in Hyde. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a company known for its commitment to quality and precision.

Who This Job Would Suit

This role is ideal for a CNC Turner with at least 3 years of experience working in a precision engineering environment. The position would suit someone who is confident in setting and operating CNC turning machines using Fanuc controls and a strong understanding of machining processes. Individuals with programming experience will have a distinct advantage.

Rate - £33,000 per annum.

Hours - Monday - Thursday, 7:45am - 5pm. Friday, 7:45am - 10:45am.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce machined parts by setting and operating CNC turning machines using Fanuc controls.
• Determine the necessary fixtures, attachments, and tools according to specifications.
• Modify machine speed, tooling, and cutting styles to ensure precision and accuracy in various materials.
• Utilise programming skills for enhanced machine operation (advantageous)

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Machining.
• Minimum of 3 year of experience working in a precision engineering environment.
• Proficiency in CNC software and hardware programming skills (advantageous)
