CNC Miller/Shift work, Permanent position, £16.76 - £23.46 an hour + Overtime and Benefits

Standard days for training, then will move onto 6-2, 2-10, and 10-6.

We have a permanent opportunity for a CNC Miller/Borer, to join a company who are regarded as experts in machine manufacturing within the rubber process industry.

As a time-served CNC machinist your main duties will include:

• Set, operate and part programming a CNC Giddings and Lewis Boring Mill machine with heidenhain controls.
• Have experience machining large components (Up to 2 tonne)
• Self-inspection of machined parts.
• Adhering to health and safety standards
• General housekeeping of your workspace
• Feeding back any issues to the team leader.

Applicants must have completed an Engineering apprenticeship and be able to disclose certificates.
Working 37 hours per week initially starting on days with a view to moving on to an alternating 3-shift pattern. It is essential applicants can work and cover all 3 shifts.

In return you will receive the following:

• £16.76 base rate with shift uplift of 20% on 6am-2pm, 30% on 2pm-10pm, and 40% on 10pm - 6am
• 25 days holiday per year
