We are seeking a highly skilled Process Applications Engineer from either a Paper & Pulp background, or a Water Treatment background to contribute to the design and development of process systems within the paper industry.

This role is OUTSIDE IR35.

This role involves both office and site work, focusing on creating efficient, reliable systems through careful planning, design, and implementation. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure success in this role. When it is not on site it is a role that will be full time in the office.

This role is ideal for an individual with a strong engineering background, attention to detail, and a passion for designing effective process systems. It would suit someone who enjoys a balance of office and site work, is safety-conscious, and thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop process concepts and prepare process/control diagrams (P&ID's).
  • Select, size, and specify mainline equipment, pipelines, and instrumentation.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including mass flow balances and survey reports.
  • Participate in site surveys, installation supervision, and commissioning.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are met during all project phases.

In return you'll receive a rate up to £38/hr ltd for an initial 2-3 month contract, with the potential for it to go on longer.
