We have an exciting new opportunity for a Permanent Mechanical CAD Technician to be based near Blackburn working for an independently run, family-owned global designer and manufacturer. They produce bespoke product designs across the Education, Hospitality, healthcare, corporate and home sectors.

We are looking for a candidate with previous 3D Design experience, preferably in Solidworks, who has experience creating and interpreting drawings to British Standards. Our client is looking for a CAD Technician/ Draughtsperson to remain in this role for at least a few years before looking to potentially progress, in order to fill and maintain that position and prevent future workload issues.

Responsibilities:

• Develop bespoke product designs based on customer requests.
• Use of Solidworks software to create 3D models and technical drawings.
• Discussion of ideas with any internal technical teams, as well as external suppliers.
• Providing technical support to the Production and Sales teams.

The Role will be in-office, with a salary between £25-£30k DOE. You will also receive; a contributory pension scheme, 24 days holiday (plus bank holidays), medical plan, free parking, plus additional great benefits.
