National Careers Week

Carousel National Careers Week 2019 En

This week is National Careers Week across the UK. National Careers Week runs from the 4th - 9th March and is a celebration of careers guidance in education.

NCW aims to provide focus on careers guidance activity at a crucial stage in the academic year and support young people getting ready to leave education.

NCW aims to empower students by providing careers, education, information, advice and guidance (CEIAG) helping link the worlds of education and employment. They give students a look at the future of work and further learning helping them make a more informed decision on their future.

NCW give educators the platform and tools to inspire students about their working future during NCW and offers companies the chance to showcase their training or careers opportunities.

Schools and colleges have little time, or budget, for extended CEIAG activities which makes National Careers week so important, they create the time and provide the chance for organisations to engage students and inspire the next generations of workers.

Do you know what you want to do or where you want to take your career? Or do you have children coming up to school leaving age that have perhaps asked you for advice?
