Manufacturing Engineers, are you looking for a permanent job that offers an excellent basic salary of up to £40,000 pa, generous pension scheme and fantastic avenues for progression?
Are you looking for a day shift, with an early finish on a Friday, working in a new state of the art production facility?
Could you slot into an already existing team and help support the company's manufacturing processes?
This is your opportunity to join a Leading manufacturer of Capital Equipment, machinery and spare parts for the fabrics industry at their Accrington HQ.
That brings about the question what do they want from you?
You will need to be able to demonstrate strong analytical skills, have proven fault finding experience and be able to apply practical solutions to any issues that arise.
Lean manufacturing, die casting, CNC machining and parts programming will all be essential skills that you will need to succeed in this position, and you will be educated to at least HNC level.
If you are familiar with heat treatment, grinding, and wire EDM machining would put you at an advantage although not essential.
On a day to day basis, the Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for creating and interpreting drawings using AutoCAD, transferring products from design into production, helping to design and source new tools, providing costings for manufactured items and taking a lead role in the introduction of Lean Manufacturing.
