We are recruiting for an experienced Controls and Automation Engineer to join a company who have been manufacturing special purpose machinery for over 50 years at their facility in Doncaster.
This position offers an excellent salary (to be discussed at interview) Working weekdays, Monday through Friday on days. Usually, 8 am - 4 pm.
The role will require a high level of knowledge of PLC (Siemens and Rockwell) and HMI systems, and you must be able to write software from scratch and possess the ability to implement the control and software as well as the associated equipment. Experience of servo and motion control systems would benefit your application.
The Controls and Automation Engineer will be required to undertak some international and local travel, around 20 percent of your time will be spent on the road, with Jobs lasting up to 2 weeks. When traveling the work will mostly focus on commissioning, site support, and site testing.
