As a trusted partner to military clients around the globe, our client has a reputation for engineering innovation. A reputation that they have cultivated throughout their 100 year + history. We've worked with this business for over 20 years and we're excited to work with them as them embark on a multi-year, multi-billion pound project.

To meet the demand for their products both at home in the UK and overseas, they are creating several new, permanent Welding & Fabrication Fitter jobs at their Stockport based Engineering Centre of Excellence.

You'll be joining a manufacturing business that is known across the globe for its precision-engineered military bridging systems, a product that they have supplied to armies in over 40 countries for almost half a century and more recently the manufacture of new cutting edge armoured vehicles.

They are looking for Welders & Fabrication Fitters that:

* Are time served in welding or another relevant discipline.
* Have practical welding (MIG/MAG/TIG) experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
* Have good knowledge of key production processes and procedures.
* Be able to read and understand engineering drawings.
