Job Description

Supply Chain Co-ordinator, Permanent position, Basic salary is between £26,000-£28,000 dependent on experience,

+ Benefits which are - number of bonuses (based on attendance and company performance), a healthcare cashplan, pension at 5.36%, life assurance and 35 days holiday per annum (including Bank Holidays).

Working hours are 37 hours, Monday to Friday, with the option to work 4.5 days a week,

For this position, the successful applicant will need to have the following:

The ability to manage your own workload with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively (essential)

  • Understanding and experience using inventory control systems (essential)
  • Excellent communication & negotiation skills (essential)
  • Creative and innovative approach to problem solving
  • Energetic, passionate and driven with a desire to achieve outstanding results in a team environment and ensure the highest standard of outcomes
  • Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
  • A CIPS qualification is desirable but not essential

The role will be as follows:

Develop exceptional relationships with your suppliers, to maintain good quality & delivery performance

  • Using MRP to ensure parts are scheduled in line with our demand forecast, to maintain optimal stock levels
  • Attending supplier, production & internal project teams meetings
  • Ensuring the best shipping methods are nominated and correct paperwork is traveling with goods
  • Progressing outstanding purchase orders with vendors always, ensuring good stock availability
  • Working closely with goods in & goods out teams and other stakeholders within the organisation
  • Being an integral part of the NPI process
  • Ensuring compliance through the supply chain and to internal processes
  • Support to MRO & H&S functions - indirect purchasing
