We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Stress Engineer who will join one of the UK's fastest growing Nuclear companies.
They have been established for over twenty years and have grown organically and through acquisition.
The right person will be analysing tasks ensuring that projects are delivered on time and on budget.
Design tasks will include static and dynamic stress calculations to BS2573, BS5950, Eurocodes, DNV standards as required, functional calculations, thermal, seismic piping pressure vessel analysis
Throughput, reliability, availability and Maintainability (TRAM) assessments, Failure mode and effects analysis.
The objective will be to identify and report change whilst acting as a Technical Mentor to the engineering staff.
What you will need:
HND/Degree qualified
Previous experience handling complex and diverse projects
Understanding of manufacturing, assembly and test techniques
Previous management experience
Experienced user of relevant analysis tools
Previous exposure to the Nuclear industry
Location: Preston
Rate: £35-43ph 12 month initial contract
