Safety on Submarines, is rules numbers 1 through 100. It's well drilled and requires everyone to do their part to ensure that the complicated duties they have to undergo are done as safely as possible.
It means the instruments, the GUI and the automated systems must be iron clad before leaving dock, with no room for error or misinterpretation.
Our client, a leader within the maritime, defence and energy industries, are looking for 2 software engineers and a senior software engineer to join their expanding workforce. They have a number of large contracts already in place, including a new multimillion pound defence project, there is plenty of exciting features and a variety work across different programming languages, different size projects and several different clients who you will work with on a daily basis to ensure project briefings are being met to MOD standard.
You'll need experience with embedded software (such as MPLAB or ST32) and experience with high level development languages (such as PowerBASIC, VB, C, C#, C++ or Dynamic C. You do not need experience in the Maritime industry, but experience working in an Engineering & Manufacturing industry would be an advantage.
