Our client is playing a pivotal role in bringing rapid diagnostic testing to the world, whether it be in a hospital, clinical setting, GP surgery or your local train station and airport. Their Medical Device is truly ground-breaking with its capabilities.

You will be working hands on in the laboratory with the Manufacturing, Science and Technology team to carry out Material Characterisation and Development experiments on materials and components.
You will also work as part of a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) to efficiently communicate Technology and Knowledge transfer.
Further to this you will produce supporting documentation such as Material Specifications, Validation Test Plans and Certificates of Conformity for components in compliance to ISO 13485.
Skills and Experience:
Degree level in relevant discipline (Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Surface Chemistry).
Experience in Life Science, Medical Device or Biotechnology setting. Industry experience preferred.
Understanding of Technology Transfer and Process Scale-Up desirable.
Project Management skills would be advantageous.
