A positive attitude requires no talent.
Ok, so this role absolutely requires talent, but a positive attitude and a proactive nature is a minimum quality required for our client no matter your position.
The client are a specialist machinery manufacturing firm who have big growth plans over the next couple of years. These plans include growing their headcount from approximately 40 members of staff to 80, increasing their turnover by 50% and are already expanding their operations in neighbouring facilities.
With a new fabrication area to compliment their engineering and assembly facilities - the projects they are winning, and competing for, will really push them onto a new level to compliment their already global reputation within the industry.
The project management role will require someone to ideally come from a Mechanical Design Engineering background who can take control of all projects allocated to you, ensuring they are completed to the highest standard as efficiently and professionally as possible. You'll be working with customers across the FMCG, Nuclear and Chemical industries whilst having key relationships within the business as communication is absolutely the key to the position.
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Producing Project Plans, liaising with the Managing Director and Project Coordinators on a weekly basis.
- Working with the Sales Team and taking full responsibility for delivering on promises.
- Liaise with the Design team to ensure drawings match the specs provided by the client.
- Pushing projects through Assembly and Fabrication divisions to ensure final product fits the customer's expectations.
In return you'll receive a competitive salary between £38-£50k depending on experience, 25 days holiday, increasing to 27 days holiday after 5 years' service, a discretionary bonus based on company profits and the opportunity to work with a company who are also proactive and want to really forge ahead in the industry.
