Ok, so this role absolutely requires talent, but a positive attitude and a proactive nature is a minimum quality required for our client no matter your position.
They're a specialist machinery manufacturing firm who have big growth plans over the next couple of years. These plans include growing their headcount from approximately 40 members of staff to 80, increasing their turnover by 50% and are already expanding their operations in neighbouring facilities.
With a new fabrication area to compliment their engineering and assembly facilities - the projects they are winning, and competing for, will really push them onto a new level to compliment their already global reputation within the industry.
The project engineering role will require someone to ideally come from a Mechanical Design Engineering background who is able to actively use Solidworks whilst taking control of all projects allocated to you, ensuring they are completed to the highest standard as efficiently and professionally as possible. You'll be working with customers whilst having key relationships within the business as communication is absolutely the key to the position.
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Producing Project Plans, liaising with the Managing Director and Project Coordinators on a weekly basis.
- Working with the Sales Team and taking full responsibility for delivering on promises.
- Produce 3D drawings using Solidworks
- Working with the Assembly and Fabrication divisions to ensure final product fits the customer's expectations
In return you'll receive a competitive salary which can range from £30k for a Junior Project Engineer, ranging up to £40k-£50k for someone who can hit the ground at speed, 25 days holiday, increasing to 27 days holiday after 5 years' service, a discretionary bonus based on company profits and the opportunity to work with a company who are also proactive and want to really forge ahead in the industry.
