Job Description

Are you a Process Engineer looking for solace from the Oil and Gas or Petrochem industry?

Would you like to be involved in a role that fact finding and problem solving plays a huge role?

How about having the opportunity to go to site before coming progressing with your own findings?

Then get in touch!

We are currently looking for a Process Engineer for a Pharmaceutical Client to be based out of Runcorn, with trips around the UK and Europe for an average of 1 week in 4. Candidates should have a strong background with Pressure Relief Calculations and have worked within both a site and office environment.

With a long term contract, this is a great opportunity for a chartered engineer who is willing to see a contract from open to close for up to 2 years of work.

If this is of interest, get in touch on mark.dorey@emp-sol.com or 07909 906 061.

They need a Process Engineer on contract with 10 years' experience who has experience with pressure relief.

The project is a Pharmaceutical client of theirs which will require someone to go across to site and investigate the plants and facilities. Site surveys will be about 1/4 of the time, and then calculations. It is quite a problem solving/fact finding mission for them to get involved in. Pharma would be an advantage, but they'll get most of the pressure relief experience from an Oil and Gas or Petrochemical background.

The position will be based in Preston Brook with trips to site. First sites (2 of them) will be in Ireland and then the UK, followed by Europe. The projects are 2 years long.

Rates are £40-£45/hr for junior candidates, £45-£50/hr for senior candidates. In reality they need a minimum of 10 years' experience and candidates should be chartered.
