Robotics process automation developer required by my market leading client

  • Robotic Automation provides the opportunity to automate manual processes without the need for changes to existing systems.
  • Within Service at Experian, this solution provides the opportunity to implement quick incremental improvements to benefit our customers in the short term ultimately leading to both a reduction in waste and an vastly improved customer experience.
  • The Project will work closely with the Devops CoE which is particularly focused on the tools that the business needs to deliver a great service to our internal and external customers. As a unit, the CoE provide global service management tools to enable IT service management including incident, problem and change management, emergency call out systems, reporting, dashboarding and service catalogue functions to the client in 43 different countries. The team also delivers 24 hour systems monitoring and analytics capabilities to a broad spectrum of business units, and Mainframe automation to boot.

The Role / Key Responsibilities

  • Support the projects target of automating manual
  • Develop using Automation Anywhere
  • Utilize both business process and information technology (IT) background to analyse business processes and determine automation steps
  • Key player in implementing RPA Solutions to automate business processes across various functions
  • Support execution of controls and compliance over the RPA processes
  • Work across business units to enhance efficiency and effectiveness with the use of RPA technologies
  • Work with process stakeholders to implement innovative RPA solutions. The developer will be responsible for supporting RPA solutions across departments. Work closely with business process owners, BA, Test lead to determine process requirements and improvement options
  • Working within project planning constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues to the delivery/project manager accordingly and providing inputs to the change control process.
  • Support analysis business processes at operational level, provide recommendations and potential RPA solutions for individual process and process integration
  • Conduct RPA script testing and maintaining updated workflow documentation
  • Apply and support RPA scripts with right controls and meeting all the compliance requirements
  • Support process owners for RPA-related issues and monitor progress after implementation
  • Deliver training and demonstrations to SME's and Stakeholders
  • Ensure that processes are reliable, secure and eliminate risk of harm by any automated process
  • Provide regular updates and reports
  • Obtain and share knowledge effectively
  • Proactively monitor the environment and take corrective action in the event of a failure to keep the service running
  • Follow best practice and adhere to regulatory and business policy


  • An engineering or programming background, with experience in Robotic Process Automation Tools (preferably Automation Anywhere Enterprise) Extensive experience of writing Macros
  • Basic process management skills
  • Basic automation skills and working knowledge of scripting languages e.g. PHP, Perl, Python
  • Basic database skills
  • Working knowledge of the tools appropriate to the DevOps services provided
  • An innovative and inquisitive mind, focused on addressing and solving data and analysis problems
  • Knows the steps that must be taken to investigate/correct data problems
  • Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills
  • Excellent collaboration and teamwork
