For an engineer, progression & development are the name of the game. You've got some experience, whether that be through a degree or time in industry, but now you're looking at taking that next step. How can you trust that next step to develop you into a top class engineer, finding that mentor willing to put that time into you, to coach you and to elevate you to that next level?

Our client are a specialist in the design, manufacturing and servicing of high specification, high quality machinery with over 40 years in industry. They have a family feel to them, a mid-sized company with a recent injection of cash through the acquisition of a Global firm.

They offer training through their own academy, looking constantly to upskill the people that work there, allowing an organic growth within the organisation, giving transparency to the career ladder and what you can achieve with the right skills and attitude.

The role requires someone who has strong 3D design experience, ideally Solidworks, who is proficient with engineering calculations and comfortable communicating with other departments within the business to ensure specs are taking correctly, BOMs are created accurately, and the end product meets all requirements set out in the initial scope.

Day to Day activities include:

  • 3D design using Solidworks of special purpose machinery
  • Producing detailed assembly diagrams to industry safety standards
  • Liaise with the supply chain to ensure a smooth manufacturing process
  • Be involved in Project Engineering/Management tasks as required.

In return you'll receive a salary between £33k-£40k depending on your prior experience, 20 days + Bank Holidays, a pension matched at 6% and the opportunity to train and develop within the business.
