There have been many different definition of the term 'essential businesses' over the course of the last 12 months.
For instance if you manufactured Toilet rolls or hand sanitiser prior February 2020, who would have thought people would be fighting for them in the supermarket come April. The hopes of humanity seemingly rested in your hands at one point.
We've had national debates over whether gyms and fast-food takeaways are essential which seem to have pop up all over social media time and time again.
But one thing we can all get on board with is how essential food inspection still remains to be. Even in normal times - think back to 2019 if you were trying to remember what normal times may have looked like!
Our client is one of those essential businesses, a multinational firm who specialise in food inspection, through metal detection, check-weighing and x-ray machinery. They are currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer, an expert in Solidworks who understands conveyor systems front and back. Ideally you'll be from the food industry yourself and be keen to grow within an expanding team.
In return you'll receive a salary of £38,000, a very generous pension (up to 11% from the client) and several insurances policies to protect you.
