Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / electrically biased

A new opportunity has arisen for a national award-winning company based on the West side of Manchester. Part of a globally growing company that has attracted outside investment to continue its growth plans.
The Role;
The maintenance team are the life blood of the company and support a number of different roles and responsibilities. With a varied range of duties to maintain several different machines across a small number of sites the role will suit anyone who likes a variety of work and keeping busy with things to do.
Duties include, assist in machinery breakdowns and continuous improvement projects, planned maintenance, compliant with company management system, responsive to emergencies & repairs etc.
Hours: (total 39.5 hours per week)
Week 1 Mon - Thurs 06:00 - 14:30 and Friday 06:00 - 14:00
Week 2 Mon-Thurs 07:30 - 16:00 and Friday 07:30 - 15:30
Rotating weekly shift pattern - candidates must be able to do both shifts on an on-going basis.
Salary circa £34,000 pa
Requirements;
Level 3 Diploma in both Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance, Siemens S7 Controllers and PLC, ABB Drives and Inverters, Profibus network systems and Scada, 17th / 18th Edition, fault finding experience, familiar with 110/240/415AC, PATS testing and statutory regulations & Electrical Inspection and Testing Certificate desirable. Ability to read electrical drawings & working knowledge of conveyors, bearings, gearboxes and motors desirable. As well standard team and personal development expectations.
Own transport is desirable
