Employment Solutions is currently recruiting a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to join the UK's leading Steel Manufacturing business at their facility in Sherburn.

To this business, uptime is critical; with their steel going into some of the most publicised and exciting construction projects in the UK, steel needs to go out of the door on time, which is where you come in.

As the Maintenance Engineer, your primary duties will be to work as part of a small team to support Production with their day-to-day maintenance requirements. Attending breakdowns and assisting with repairs to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum and completing safety checks and inspections.

About you.

The successful candidate should be a time-served maintenance engineer with a minimum City and Guilds qualification / NVQ level 3 or equivalent.

You will have experience working in a similar engineering environment and have knowledge of welding equipment and pneumatic tools. Experience in working with cranes and lifting equipment is advantageous.

The position pays £15.79 an hour on Days with overtime available depending on the workload.

The shifts for this position are Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am - 3.30 pm, and Friday, 7.00 am - 1.00 pm.
