We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to join a company that is built on a strong manufacturing heritage that stretches back as far as the 18th century at their headquarters in Rossendale, Lancashire.
You will be joining a leading manufacturer of flooring textile products that employs close to 6,000 people, supplies over 400 customers in 7 different countries and generates close to a £1 billion per year.
A position has become available for an Electrical Engineer to join the maintenance team on a Permanent basis.
The successful candidate will commence on days (Monday-Friday) for site familiarisation and training, and then progress on to a continental shift pattern which has a 7 day, 8 week rotation. (Days and Nights)
You will be rewarded with a salary of up to £39,012 per annum which includes a continental shift premium.
Your responsibilities include maintaining the plant, responding to breakdowns promptly and having a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
You will be qualified to a minimum of HNC level and have at least five years maintenance experience within a high-volume manufacturing facility.
You will have worked on PLCs, drives, control systems, flow and pressure controls, shredders, granulators and hydraulic systems and you will be able to read electrical drawings.
