Are you an experienced Manager within Software?
Do you have proven Python, C# and C++ development skills?
We are working closely with a global technical security systems provider that Design, Develop and Manufacture rugged Electronic Devices used in Defence and Aerospace industries, specialising in Intelligence and Surveillance.
As the Head of Software, you will manage of team of up to 10 Software & IT professionals providing leadership and support.
You will be a member of the Engineering Management Team on the technical resolution of product development and obsolescent management, as well as strategic planning.
You will utilise your experience with Python, C# and C++ as well as Linux and X86 based hardware to efficiently lead the Software Team.
Skills and Experience:
Degree qualified
Proven Management or Leadership experience within Software/IT department
Experience covering Python, C#, C++ or .NET
Knowledge of Linux, Android, iOS design and development
Agile / Waterfall development and implementation
Location - Leeds
Salary - £55k - £65k (dependent on experience)
Permanent - Full Time
