We are recruiting for a Hardware Design Engineer to join a global company that designs and manufactures equipment for the mining industry which employs over 10,000 people in over 100 locations across six continents.
You will be joining a company that continuously strives to make mining a more efficient, prosperous and most of all safe industry for everyone who works in it.
The role will involve the design and development of Electronic Mining Machinery, control and monitoring systems.
To be considered you will need to hold a degree in a relevant subject, have at least three years design experience and have experience in as many of the following as possible.
- Low power analogue and digital circuit design
- PLC Design
- RF Systems
- Optical / imaging systems
- High-speed communication systems
You will work alongside other engineering groups within the company, and some travel to suppliers sites may be required. This will be primarily within the UK.
The basic salary on offer for this position is between £30,000 and £45,000 pa dependant upon your experience and skillset as well as other company benefits.
