Our client fly in the face of this philosophy. A Global name, you'll definitely have heard of them as a quality Engineering and Manufacturing firm, chances are you'll own some of their products in your own home. Yet their HR department really do treat people like people.

Your role is comprehensive. You'll manage a broad range of Employee Relations, offering proactive support across 3 sites in the UK, working with site directors to ensure the current staff are valued with the right approach, and ensuring employees coming into the business have the same ethos as those already within. You'll provide accurate and timely guidance to those within the business regards HR policies, and be constantly looking for opportunities to implement HR and L&D solutions.

Your day to day will include:

  • Working with staff at all levels to ensure excellence in employee relations
  • Implement innovative HR and Learning & Development Solutions
  • Being Proactive and working with the business to get ahead of changes in Legislation
  • Deliver best practice recruitment processes

Ideally you'll be CIPD level 5 qualified or have a relevant background, have experience providing advice and support to line managers and employees on a range of HR activities, and be confident around people - able to quickly build a rapport with your colleagues. The business is currently implementing a new HR tool - Workday, so any exposure to this system would be an advantage.
