Some electrical design roles involve you sat behind your desk designing electrical circuits and control panels, sending them off to project for review.
But not all design engineering positions are created equally!
Our client is looking for a Electrical Design Engineer who wants to be involved in the whole project. Someone who is happy to go down to the shop floor and discuss calculations with the manufacturing teams, wants to talk with the customer about their needs and how solutions can work, but also wants to be part of a research and development team looking for solutions or efficiencies that can move the company even further forward. They want someone who likes to be immersed in a product and process, and willing to work with a team to solve complex problems.
The company are a Global Leader of Vacuum Packaging machinery, just one of five companies who make their product and have a reputation that precedes them across the Globe. They value their staff and have a camaraderie they are proud of, with social events that bring the teams closer together. They design and manufacture very large machinery with many moving parts, so experience with rotating equipment in a heavy machinery environment would be essential.
They are currently looking for a number of Electrical Design Engineers to join them on a permanent basis. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and drawing electrical control circuits using Zuke E3 or Promis-e.
- Programming using Siemens PLC
- Working as part of a team whilst taking accountability for your own actions.
- Keeping up to date with current and new technologies, whilst being aware of market conditions.
In return you'll receive a salary of up to £40,000, 25 days holidays + Bank Holidays, training in the product, in professional development and leadership development if that's the direction you want to take yourself.
So if you enjoy being part of the whole project, rather than being a cog in a machine, then get in touch today with Mark Dorey on email@example.com or on 0161 416 6296.
