Contracts Administrator, permanent position, salary dependent on experience

This is an exciting opportunity to join a company who specialise in comprehensive range of waste, water and energy management services designed to build the circular economy and protect the environment.
As a Contract Administrator, building on your Quantity Surveyor background, you can secure the foundations of commercial delivery and business growth.
You'll see the pitfalls and potholes. You'll orchestrate the administrative contractual management of projects that are crucial to a business's success and reputation.
This role is an architect for business and financial safeguarding; it oversees the legal aspects of a contract's journey. You'll use your intuition and eye for detail to advise, amend, and align project management teams to best practice.
Your day to day duties will include, but not limited to:
Overseeing issues and problems emerging from some 30-plus concurrent projects
Management of a variety of project types, ranging in value from thousands to hundreds of thousands
Preparing and collating budgets and forecasts
Client and subcontractor/supplier interaction - to deal with daily contractual issues
Referencing contract conditions and recording and evaluating project changes
Liaising with procurement department on schedules; reviewing and evaluating tender returns
Internal presentations to project teams, managers, and engineers
This definitely won't be a clock watching position, as the company are extremley busy.
As you settle into the role, there's scope for you to host workshop sections. Your knowledge and specialism will provide vital support for project managers.
As a collaborative communicator, you need to have the knack for constructive advice and the ability to bring people onside. When you face resistance or stubbornness, that passion for your role's purpose will drive you to challenge and convince people of the right way to move forward.

Existing knowledge and an appreciation for the standard forms of contract
Knowing NEC from your IChemE
Have the confidence and conviction to question, challenge and push back when necessary
Have a Quantity Surveyor background, qualified to either HND or degree level
You don't need to know every contract type inside out - but you do need to have existing experience and examples to give, on when you've helped to manage standard forms of contracts, most likely in NEC form, for construction-related projects - in any industry.
You'll need a full, clean driving licence as you will be travelling to their sites across the Uk,
