As a Commissioning & Servicing Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and commisioning new equipment, training customers and maintaining and managing existing installations.
The role requires a self-motivated engineer with experience of working with industrial control equipment. Successful Applicant will spend most of their time working on-site with National & international customers, and in-house support from the Preston office.
Your duties will include:
Installing & commissioning electro-mechanical systems on site at customers premises.
Liaising with customers regarding start-up schedules and the progress of new installation projects.
Carrying out warranty and fault finding work on existing equipment
Providing technical support, preventative maintenance and repairing equipment
To be considered for this position you must have:
Experience with electro-mechanical industrial machinery / systems
Have industry recognised qualifications in industrial electrical engineering
Additionally, as the Commissioning & Servicing Engineer you should be computer literate, and have good communication skills and an organised self-managing approach to work. An HNC (or equivalent) in an electrical or electronic engineering discipline would be beneficial to your application.
The position involves significant travel both in the UK and abroad, as such you should be willing to travel, be flexible in your approach to working times and hold a clean driving licence and passport with no work limitations.
