We have a fantastic opportunity for a CNC engineer to work a new weekend night shift for an established precision engineering firm.
This is a permanent role that would suit an apprentice-trained CNC machinist with experience in the part programming, setting and operating of large CNC machines.
Machines may include a Giddings & Lewis Horizontal boring machines, XYZ, Toyoda and Correa Milling machines. Components are medium to large sized weighing up to 8 tonnes.
You will start on standard days to gain product knowledge, and progress to a Weekend Night shift once settled. (37 hours over Friday, Saturday and Sunday Night).
Pay rate on days is £14.22 per hour, and whilst on Weekend nights you will receive a huge 80% uplift which equates to £25.60 an hour!
Ideally any candidates interested must be flexible and be able to cover any shift if so required.
