Health & Safety Officer

Are you an experienced Health and Safety professional within Manufacturing or Engineering?

NEBOSH or IOSH qualified?

Our client is a growing and successful Manufacturer in the heart of Bolton with over a century in business and there's no slowing down yet!

As a Health & Safety Officer you will become an integral part of the senior team and main point of contact on site for HSE related matters.

You will carry out the following;

• Safety inspections and audits
• Risk assessments and fire safety activities
• LOLER, COSHH, and legionella compliance checks
• Ensure safety by regularly monitoring SOPs
• Report and investigate on accidents, incidents and near misses
• Continuous Improvement activities

Skills and Experience:

• Proven Health and Safety experience within Manufacturing & Engineering
• NEBOSH and/or IOSH certified.
• Knowledge of ISO standards

Location - Bolton
Salary - £40k - £44k (dependent on experience)
Permanent - Full Time - 0800-1630 (Mon-Thu) 0800-1530 (Fri)
